Program objectives and description

This project, initiated by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, Water Resources Division in Northwest Territories, aimed to collect 5 years of water quality data from the Peel River and some of its major tributaries. The objectives of this study were to develop an understanding of baseline water chemistry within the Peel River watershed and to describe any seasonal and spatial differences in water chemistry. To meet these objectives, water chemistry data was collected and compiled.
